ALISON TAN

Alison Tan is an entrepreneurial hotel acquisitions and debt specialist with over 20 years of experience in acquisitions, investment analysis, capital structuring, and investor relations.

Before joining TMGOC, Alison was Managing Director at Fairwood Capital, where she led acquisitions and recapitalizations of premium-branded and independent full- and select-service hotels and resorts through the firm’s discretionary investment funds. She also co-founded BlackPearl Capital, LLC, an asset management firm focused on hotel investments in partnership with institutions and family offices.

Earlier in her career, Alison served as Director of Finance for a Minnesota-based family office, overseeing capital markets activities and investor relations for a portfolio of family-owned and -operated hotels. She also spent over a decade in hospitality investment sales and capital markets with Ackman-Ziff and Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Hospitality Group, representing hotel owners and developers in over $9.5 billion of sales, financing, and equity transactions.

Alison began her career in hotel operations with Four Seasons and in hospitality consulting and appraisal with HVS. She holds a degree from Cornell University.
