Daniel Henick is Vice President of Asset Management at TMGOC Ventures, bringing a sophisticated track record in hotel portfolio management and value creation. He has worked alongside over a dozen third-party and integrated hotel management companies, overseeing real estate investments under Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, and independent flags.

Most recently, as a Senior Associate at Brookfield Asset Management based in London, Dan executed the business plan for a 2,500-key portfolio of resort and urban hotels across Spain, including the repositioning of the majority of the assets. He drove above-target returns by overseeing the deployment of a €175M+ capex program, closing €200M+ in accretive dispositions, and partnering with management teams to grow RevPAR Index and NOI across the portfolio. Dan led the development and launch of the award-winning Moxy Barcelona—Spain’s first Moxy by Marriott—and managed F&B and ancillary programming across Brookfield’s broader European hotel portfolio, including Locke design-led aparthotels in Paris, Dublin, and Lisbon and The Don Carlos Resort in Marbella.

Previously, at Starwood Capital Group, Dan served as an Analyst on the hotel asset management team with direct responsibility for over 30 select-service hotels, while supporting the business plan execution of a 350-hotel portfolio across 43 states. He contributed to the refinancings of over 200 hotels, generating $1.4B in proceeds, and led 10 asset dispositions.

His earlier experience includes asset management and investment roles at Lore Group and OYO. Dan began his career at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where he supported Global Development through the landmark sale to Marriott International.

Reflecting his expertise in the sector, Dan is a member of Marriott International’s Joint Advisory Board, where he serves on the Moxy Franchise Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA).

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in business from The George Washington University and a Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management Certificate from Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration. He is fluent in Spanish and, in his free time, enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his family
