Sunju Patel

Sunju Patel is Co-Founder and Managing Member of TMGOC Ventures, a principal-led real estate private equity platform with approximately $1.5 billion in assets under management focused on hospitality acquisitions, adaptive reuse, and ground-up development.

Mr. Patel co-leads the firm’s investment strategy, origination, and capital formation. He founded The Montford Group in 2017, building a portfolio spanning hotel, office, and retail assets across the Southeast, and in 2022 combined the platform to form TMGOC Ventures. 

He has more than 20 years of experience originating and executing transactions across the capital structure, with brand relationships spanning Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and numerous other leading global hospitality platforms, and luxury and lifestyle developments currently in execution across the Southeast.
